Mrs. Joscelyne’s Vietnam Story: 11 Years of Trust, 8 Journeys and Many Friendships

Some travelers visit Vietnam once and carry home beautiful memories. For Mrs. Joscelyne, one journey became the beginning of a much longer story.

Since her first trip with Viet Orchid Travel in 2015, Mrs. Joscelyne has returned again and again, exploring different regions of Vietnam with her close friends. The travel companions have sometimes changedsome joining for their first Vietnam experience, while familiar faces have returned for another adventure together.

Over the years, these trips have become more than holidays. They have been opportunities for friends to discover new places, spend meaningful time together and create shared memories across Vietnam.

For our team, it has been a privilege to accompany Mrs. Joscelyne and her friends throughout this remarkable journey.

1. 11 Years of Travel, Friendship and Trust of Mrs. Joscelyne’s Story

From the mountains of Sapa and the heritage of Central Vietnam to Nha Trang’s coastline and the waterways of the Mekong Delta, every journey has revealed a different side of Vietnam.

Each itinerary has also been personal adapted to the interests, pace and experiences Mrs. Joscelyne and her friends were looking for at that particular time.

After traveling with us on many occasions, Mrs. Joscelyne kindly shared:

“We have made more than five trips through Viet Orchid Travel. All of them have been excellent in arrangements, service and fulfilment. Ms. Lan makes excellent suggestions and provides good support when things didn’t go as planned. The guides she hires provide top-notch service and really show care and concern for their groups.”

Her words mean a great deal to our entire team. A positive review after one holiday is always appreciated. But choosing to return again and again over more than a decade and trusting us with the journeys of close friends is something we value even more deeply.

2. Eight Journeys, Eight Different Chapters of Vietnam

Across eight journeys, Mrs. Joscelyne and her friends have experienced many different sides of the country in Vietnam from vibrant cities and dramatic landscapes to quiet countryside and local life.

Some trips were filled with exploration; others offered a slower pace and more time simply to enjoy being together.

Each became another chapter in a Vietnam story that has continued for more than a decade.

2015 – Where the Vietnam Story Began

📍 Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Halong Bay – Sapa

Mrs. Joscelyne’s first journey with us began in Northern Vietnam, a region of striking contrasts and unforgettable scenery.

In Hanoi, she and her friends experienced the city’s lively rhythm, historic streets and rich culture before escaping to the peaceful countryside of Ninh Binh, where rivers wind between limestone mountains and rice fields.

Halong Bay brought another moment of wonder, with thousands of limestone islands rising from the water. The journey then continued into the mountains of Sapa, where cool air, terraced valleys and changing clouds revealed a completely different side of Vietnam.

Every destination felt new, and every day brought another story to tell. At the time, it was simply their first holiday with Viet Orchid Travel. None of us knew it would become the opening chapter of an 11-year journey.

2018 – Reuniting in the Cultural Heart of Vietnam

📍 Da Nang – Hue – Phong Nha – Hoi An

When Mrs. Joscelyne returned in 2018, there was already a sense of familiarity between her group and our team.

This time, they explored Central Vietnam – a region rich in imperial history, ancient culture and dramatic natural scenery.

In Hue, they experienced the heritage and gentle pace of Vietnam’s former imperial capital. Phong Nha added a sense of adventure as the group explored its magnificent caves and extraordinary natural formations.

Hoi An offered a softer conclusion. As lanterns illuminated the old streets in the evening, there was time to wander, enjoy local food and simply appreciate the atmosphere together.

2019 – Discovering the Rhythm of Southern Vietnam

📍 Saigon – Cai Be – Can Tho

The following journey took Mrs. Joscelyne and her friends south, beginning amid the energy of Saigon, with its busy streets, colorful markets and historical landmarks.

As they continued into the Mekong Delta, the rhythm changed completely.

In Cai Be and Can Tho, boats, riverside communities, local workshops and daily life along the waterways offered the group a glimpse into a gentler side of Vietnam.

The contrast between vibrant Saigon and the peaceful Delta made this journey especially memorable, revealing two very different faces of Southern Vietnam in one shared adventure.

2022 – A Joyful Return After Time Apart

📍 Saigon – Da Lat – Nha Trang

The 2022 journey carried particular meaning. After international travel had been interrupted, returning to Vietnam and traveling together again felt especially precious.

From Saigon, the group continued to Da Lat, where pine-covered hills, flowers, waterfalls and fresh mountain air offered a refreshing change of scenery.

They then traveled to sunny Nha Trang, exchanging the cool highlands for open sea views and a more relaxed coastal atmosphere.

There was time to explore, but also to slow down, share meals and simply enjoy one another’s company. After time apart, traveling together again was perhaps the most meaningful experience of all.

2023 – Seeing Vietnam from the Sea

📍 Quang Ninh – Hue – Vung Tau

In 2023, Mrs. Joscelyne and her companions experienced Vietnam from a new perspective through a cruise journey connecting destinations across the country.

From the dramatic limestone scenery of Quang Ninh to historic Hue and the relaxed seaside atmosphere of Vung Tau, each port revealed another landscape and another side of Vietnam.

The rhythm of the voyage was part of the experience waking up to a new destination, stepping ashore to explore, and returning to the ship with fresh memories to share.

For a group of close friends, it offered a wonderful balance between discovery, relaxation and time together.

2024 – Slowing Down in Mai Chau and Pu Luong

📍 Mai Chau – Pu Luong

After exploring many of Vietnam’s cities and famous landmarks, Mrs. Joscelyne and her friends stepped into a quieter world in Mai Chau and Pu Luong.

Green valleys, rice terraces, traditional villages and mountain scenery encouraged the group to slow down. Here, the experience was not about checking attractions off a list, but enjoying peaceful views, village life and unhurried moments together.

Traveling through rural Vietnam gave them time to reconnect with nature and with one another a reminder that some of the most beautiful travel memories are created in the quietest places.

2025 – Returning to a Familiar Region and Discovering More

📍 Saigon – Can Tho – Chau Doc

By 2025, Mrs. Joscelyne had already experienced the Mekong Delta, but returning was not about repeating the same journey. It was about discovering more.

From Saigon, the group traveled back to Can Tho before continuing to Chau Doc.

The landscapes felt familiar, yet new waterways, communities, religious traditions and local encounters revealed another layer of Southern Vietnam.

This journey showed why returning can be just as rewarding as visiting somewhere for the first time. Even familiar regions still had new stories waiting to be discovered.

2026 – Returning to Central Vietnam with New Experiences

📍 Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An

In 2026, Mrs. Joscelyne returns to Central Vietnam, a region she first explored with us eight years earlier but this time, the journey goes beyond familiar landmarks to offer more personal, hands-on experiences.

In Hue, Mrs. Joscelyne and her friends will visit the peaceful village of Thuy Bieu, meet local people and try their hand at making traditional sesame candy, a beloved local specialty. They will also visit Marie’s, a local handicraft workshop where Vietnamese craftsmanship and creativity come to life.

In Hoi An, the experience continues with a hands-on lantern-making workshop, giving each traveler the chance to create their own colorful lantern and take home something made by their own hands.

For returning travelers like Mrs. Joscelyne, these experiences offer a different way to rediscover Vietnam not simply by seeing familiar places again, but by connecting more closely with local people, traditions and craftsmanship.

The Story Will Continue in 2027

📍 Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Sapa

Another journey has already been confirmed for 2027. More than a decade after her first visit, Mrs. Joscelyne will return to Northern Vietnam, where her story with us began.

Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Sapa will undoubtedly bring back memories of 2015, but this will not simply be a repeat of the first journey. The destinations will have changed, and the group may include a different mix of familiar and new friends.

There is something beautifully meaningful about coming full circle returning to where an unexpected 11-year Vietnam story first began.

What makes Mrs. Joscelyne’s story special is not simply the number of journeys she has taken, but the trust and friendship that have grown over the years.

Through Mrs. Joscelyne, we have also had the pleasure of welcoming many of her close friends some joining for the first time, others returning for another adventure together.

Her continued trust reminds us what truly matters in travel: listening carefully, creating journeys around the people who experience them, offering honest recommendations, and being there when plans do not go exactly as expected.

We are especially grateful for her kind words about our local guides. Beyond sharing their knowledge of Vietnam, they care about the people they travel with their comfort, pace and individual needs. Often, it is these small personal touches that become some of the most lasting memories of a journey.

For us, Mrs. Joscelyne and her friends are no longer simply returning guests. They have become longtime friends we are always happy to welcome back to Vietnam.

Thank you for trusting Viet Orchid Travel throughout these wonderful 11 years, and for sharing so many journeys across Vietnam with your dear friends. Eight journeys, many familiar faces and countless memories later, we are truly grateful for the trust and friendship that have grown along the way.

It has been a joy to be part of your Vietnam story, and we look forward to welcoming you and your friends back for many more adventures to come.
